A 10 Unlike Any Other
This image was lost some time after publication. Tiger doesn't look like he wants to be a part of it, but we're going to have quite a finish to the Masters anyway. Phil Mickelson continues to lead by one stroke. He's at -6, with Freddie Couples one stroke behind and Jose Maria Olazabal and Vijay Singh two back.
Meltdown of the day, however, goes to Rocco Mediate on the par-3 12th. Rocco's drive came up short and found the creek. His second shot from the drop area also found the creek. He blasted his next one 10 yards over the green into a bunker. And CBS didn't show it, but he must've hit it into the water at least once more, because he finished with a 10 on the hole. Difficult to watch. Sorry Roc.
Rocco fell back to +4 on the tournament and is tied for 27th. He's played out of his mind all week, screws up one hole, and it's all gone. Cost himself a few hundred thousand, and probably some exemptions. Ouch.
Leaders are in the middle of Amen Corner right now.
