Aaron Hernandez To Be Charged For Fighting Handcuffed Inmate
The Bristol County Sheriff's Office has filed a criminal complaint to charge Aaron Hernandez after he fought a handcuffed inmate in February.
Sheriff Thomas Hodgson said that Hernandez will face charges of assault and battery after fighting an inmate in the hallway. The other inmate won't be charged with anything. Hernandez is also facing charges in the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, and is still the prime suspect in a double murder from a 2012 drive-by shooting.
The former NFL player is currently in special isolation as a consequence for the fight. He will spend 23 hours of each day there for 30 days.
