Adrian Gonzalez Homers In His First At Bat As A Dodger
You know what they say about first impressions: always hit a three-run home run in your first at bat with a new team if you'd like to make a good impression. Hours before, Gonzalez, Josh Beckett and Nick Punto were on a plane en route to Los Angeles as the trade was made official. Gonzalez did not make it in time for batting practice.
Come game time, Gonzalez reportedly got a huge ovation as he was introduced as a Los Angeles Dodger for the first time, and he did not disappoint.
Sadly we only have the Marlins feed, but twitter reports Vin Scully remarked "what a fairy tale story."
