Audio: Kids Bombard Davidson With Messages For Steph Curry

During Steph Curry’s journey to the Finals, his alma mater’s been getting calls from kids wanting things: Shoes, visits, even contact information for Curry’s agent for NBA tryouts. Davidson men’s basketball SID Joey Beeler said he got over 40 calls in two days this week. (Beeler had to change his number.) Here are five.

Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer wrote a delightful story on the pint-sized Curry fans pestering Davidson. Beeler eventually found out how everyone got his number: Yahoo Answers.

Jones embedded one of the voicemails in his article, but we asked the athletic department for more; they sent over five, which you can hear above. Names and personal information have been taken out, but enjoy these kids’ efforts. They’re persistent.
