Bo Knows This Won't End Well

Former Domer pitcher/receiver Jeff "The Shark" Samardzija made his Major League debut yesterday afternoon in a relief appearance for the Chicago Cubs. The 23 year-old rookie struck out a pair of Marlins in the two-inning outing, but he failed to pickup the hold after beginning the seventh inning with a 2-1 lead. Jorge Cantu tied the game when he ripped a Samardzija offering down the third base line scoring Hanley Ramirez, however the only truly embarrassing moment came when he tossed a pitch-out a few feet over Geovany Soto's head. Samardzija later ceded to Bobby Howry, who was promptly taken deep by Jeremy Hermida to give the Marlins the winning run. Meanwhile, one of Samardzija's former football teammates is preparing for his first season with the Baltimore Ravens and dabbling in pro boxing while another one is preparing to hold the clipboard for Horse Balls Anderson and cruising for men online. So yes, good times are being had for all.
