Breaking: J.J. Watt Spits On Patriots Logo
Holy spit!
According to multiple media reports, prior to the Houston Texans rematch with the New England Patriots, Texans DE J.J. Watt has spit on the New England Patriots logo. According to the reports, Mr. Watt approached the logo at midfield, "expectorated" on it and then wiped his feet. Calls to the Patriots grounds crew to determine the extent, if any, of the damage, have not been returned.
Patriots fans, known as "Patriot Nation" are expectedly upset with the maneuver. When reached for comment, one fan said "Hey @JJWatt I was a fan of yours but apparently you are a classless piece of garbage. That is a Terrell Owens move spitting on the logo." An official response has not yet been issued.
The Texans are in Foxboro to play Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in the late game of Sunday's Divisional round of the NFL Playoffs. The Patriots last hosted the Texans in a Monday Night Football matchup on December 10, 2012 where Houston was resoundingly defeated. Tom Brady threw four unanswered touchdown passes en route to a decisive 42-14 win. J.J. Watt was held to just two tackles and one forced fumble.
