David Haye Showed Up At Dereck Chisora's Post-Fight Presser, Tried To Beat Him With A Tripod
The circus that surrounded British heavyweight Dereck Chisora during his unsuccessful attempt to take the WBC title from Vitali Klitschko continued after the fight, when fellow Brit David Haye arrived to, apparently, start some shit.
And shit was started, as you can see in the video above. Haye, who lost to Wladimir Klitschko in his last fight before retiring, interrupted Chisora's post-fight presser and then decked him in the face. ( See the ) What came next is tough to see from the video we have, though we cranked up the gain so you can see a bit more. At one point Haye swings a photographer's tripod, while Chisora weaponizes a beer bottle. Haye's manager Adam Booth ended up with a bleeding gash on his head, though it's unsure who caused it—a close inspection of the video reveals he might have taken the blow from Haye himself.
It's a complete clownshow, and the fact it takes place in what appears to be a nightclub makes the whole scene that much more surreal/awesome/ridiculous. If Haye is angling to come out of retirement for a bout with Chisora, he'd be smart to, in the future, leave the planning up to somebody else.
