Exquisite Juan Mata Scissor Kick Put Man United 2-0 Up On Liverpool
In what was a fairly insane second half of today's huge Liverpool-Manchester United match, there was at least one moment of brilliance to break up the surrounding nuttiness. That was the criminally underused Juan Mata scoring his second goal of the game in acrobatic fashion.
A bit earlier, second half sub Steven Gerrard rightly got a red card less than a minute after stepping onto the pitch for stomping on Ander Herrera's leg. Daniel Sturridge would get one back for Liverpool in the 69th minute, but the Red Devils saw the match out. They now have a five point lead over Liverpool for that all-important fourth place spot in the table.
