Added Time Bites Manchester United In The Ass As Fulham Draws
Though the basement-dwelling Fulham took a 1-0 lead 19 minutes into the match, Manchester United's two quick goals by Robin Van Persie and Michael Carrick near the end of the second half seemingly corrected everything. But in extra time, Fulham wrecked their stability.
Fulham's Darren Bent headed in a deflection by Manchester United keeper David de Gea, who had just defended a shot by Kieran Richardson, in the 94th minute for an easy goal and a 2-2 score, creating a bunch of stunned, gloomy Man United fans. Oh man, they are so sad, and rightfully so, because Fulham's currently last in the Premier League and in position for relegation.
Manchester United dominated Fulham for the majority of the match, with nine shots on goal to Fulham's three and 75% of the time of possession. But Fergie time screwed Manchester United and manager David Moyes over for the first draw by Fulham and Manchester United at Old Trafford since 1959.
