FA Cup Semifinal Gets Violent As Millwall Fans Fight Cops, Each Other
Hooliganism became the word on everyone's lips today after an FA Cup semifinal in which the action in the Wembley Stadium stands overshadowed that on the pitch.
Wigan won 2-0 to advance to their first ever FA Cup Final, but the Latics' achievement is only secondary to the images of brawling and blood amongst angry Millwall supporters who fought London coppers and themselves.
Hooliganism is a long Millwall tradition, so this isn't all that surprising—even if, as Goal.com alleges, it's the worst violence ever seen in the "new" Wembley.
