Formerly Censored Dwarf Painting Restored To Full Nudity
This 16th century Italian masterpiece was finally restored to its original butt-nakedness, after having been painted over for being obscene. Oh, and it's a two-sided canvas, so there's a rear view too.
Renaissance artist Bronzino portrayed Morgante, a dwarf who gamboled and capered for the amusement of the Medici court. But in the 1700s, the work came to be considered indecent, so grape leaves and vines were added to cover the nudity.
But a Florentine lab has painstakingly restored the painting, and Morgante's barely-hidden doodle is on display for the first time in centuries.
So without further ado, here's some Italian dwarf ass.
