Gary Neal Was So Close To Hitting This Buzzer Beater

The Blazers came away with a 102-100 victory over the Hornets last night, but not before Charlotte's Gary Neal had everyone convinced that the game was going to overtime.

The photo above was taken by AP photographer Don Ryan, and it captures the exact moment that the buzzer sounded, just a split second before Neal sent home what he thought was the game-tying layup. At full speed, the shot looked good:
