He Can't Even Play For Isiah

It's been a week or two since we checked in with the running joke that is the New York Knicks. As it turns out, it doesn't look like the dream pairing of Stephon Marbury and his "father figure" Isiah Thomas is going to function as seamlessly as we all thought it would. Things reached a low-point last night when Starbury went into a "I'm not going to shoot the ball because I'm mad!" routine and was benched.

"I hope it's going to get better," Marbury said, his voice sounding hurt. "The way it's looking, it doesn't look like it's going up. It looks like it's going down.

"I don't know what's going on, to be honest," Marbury added.

Well, let me help you out there, Steph... you suck at playing point guard, and even the worst judge of talent in the history of the NBA has figured it out. It actually makes me respect Isiah Thomas a little bit.; I didn't think he had it in him to figure it out. If Starbury's act isn't going to work with Isiah Thomas, who is it going to work with?

What I think these two need is to sit down and listen—really listen to George Michael's Father Figure.
