Here's An Odd Legal Journal Letter About The NFL And The Ray Rice Tapes
A couple of tipsters have pointed us to an anonymous question printed in the October issue of the New York State Bar Association Journal. Take it with a grain of salt, but correspondent "Tim Troubled" says his firm dealt with a pro sports league that sounds a lot like the NFL, and a pro athlete who sounds a lot like Ray Rice.
"Tim" says that his firm spoke with a few league officials, who said there was one tape of the incident. When "Tim" spoke with one of the league employees a few weeks later, he heard the league had another video of the entire incident, but "was directed by his superiors never to discuss the existence of the second tape because of the public relations fallout that would almost certainly ensue if the full video ended up in the public realm—as well as the potential legal ramifications for the League."
