High School Team Wins Game On Miracle Double-Tipped Touchdown
Down three with just six seconds and 61 yards to go, Owensboro (Ky.) High School quarterback Nick Locher chucked the ball as far as he could. Unfortunately he threw it straight at a North Oldham defensive player; fortunately that player doinked the potential interception up into the air, off of a Owensboro receiver, and into the hands of Kishawn Walker, who took it to the house. With the win Owensboro advances to the Kentucky 4A state championship game.
Below are three great great angles of the touchdown: one from up in the press box that shows the entire play, and two shots from the opposite sideline that show the improbable catch and bedlam that followed up close.
