High School Reunion Horror Stories: Hey, You Look Familiar
This weekend, freshly minted adults will have awkward high school reunions all across America. We asked you for your reunion horror stories, and picked four of the best. This one comes from Bobby.
I graduted high school in 1999, so a few years ago we had our 10-year reunion. I had a close group of seven friends in high school and only five of us were able to attend.
One of these friends was my girlfriend in high school and after college we got married (aww, I know high school sweethearts). Anyway, my wife and I would go around meeting people we really didn't like/care for in school and making the "required small talk."
The only kicker was they would ALWAYS ask my wife where we met.
Our response of "high school" would usually be met with a response of embarrassment, followed by profuse apologies to me. Now I know I wasn't one of the popular kids in high school, but I was hardly invisible either. Needless to say I won't be going back to any more reunions to see those assholes again.
