Hornets G LaMelo Ball fined $35K for obscene gesture

The incident occurred with 4:02 left in the fourth quarter of Charlotte's 144-117 loss at Miami on Tuesday night.
Ball, who earned a technical foul on the play, had 20 points, nine assists and eight rebounds against the Heat.
Ball, 24, is averaging 26.3 points, 9.5 assists and 8.3 rebounds through four starts in his sixth NBA season.
Drafted No. 3 overall by Charlotte in 2020, he was the Rookie of the Year in 2020-21 and an All-Star in 2021-22.
