Jonathan Drouin Takes A Bone-Crunching Hit, Returns To Set Up Game-Tying Goal
Screencap [object Object] Jonathan Drouin left tonight’s high-scoring Lightning-Islanders game after taking this monstrous wallop in the second period. There was no penalty on the play.
Drouin was slow to get to the bench and eventually left the game. He returned in the third period, where he set up Nikita Kucherov for the game-tying goal in the last minute of regulation.
The Lightning would go on to win shortly after, as Brian Boyle scored in the first few minutes of overtime, and they now have a 2-1 series lead.
