Josh Harrison Overshoots Second Base, Somehow Escapes Rundown
Pirates utility man Josh Harrison overshot second base on his steal attempt in Sunday's game against the Rockies, so he took his only option left and kept going to third. It worked!
Though the Rockies did catch Harrison in a rundown, he was able to keep them involved until catcher Wilin Rosario eventually dropped the ball. Harrison reached third and almost went for an uncovered home plate before Colorado finally caught on.
Harrison pulled off the same feat last month against the Mets, too. If baseball doesn't work out for him, his future as a professional dodgeball player is secure.
