Mexican League Teams Brawl While Fans Throw Crap At Them

The Tijuana Toros and Monterrey Sultanes got after it last night after Toros infielder Jose Guadalupe Chavez collided with Sultanes catcher Angle Chavarin on a play at the plate.

This basebrawl is noteworthy not only because it lasts a lot longer and covers a lot more ground than the usual fight between baseball men, but because it also elicited a steady stream of projectiles from the assembled crowd. The only thing more unpleasant than getting kicked and punched and shoved is having beer and refuse tossed at you while it happens.
