Minor-League Hockey Game Ends With Tremendous Goalie Fight

Southern hockey goalies are a salty bunch, it would seem. Last week, we brought you the story of the guy who soaked some fans with his water bottle. This past Saturday, the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League beat the Mississippi Surge 4-3. If you want to know about the game, read this boring recap from Gulfport's Somehow, that story makes no mention of the outstanding fight you see above, which occurred after the final buzzer. Check out the 0:16 mark of the video, where Pensacola goalie Ross MacKinnon shoves his glove in the face of a Surge player. A few seconds later, MacKinnon is making his way to center-ice for a showdown with his counterpart, Kiefer Smiley. And boy, do they throw down.
