Notre Dame appeared to be hellbent on working themselves to a 1-3 record today, but the Pitt Panthers would have none of that. The game looked to have all the makings of another terrible Notre Dame loss:

Missed Field Goal? Check.
Roughing the punter in the opposing end zone? Check.
Yet Pitt went ahead and allowed a 12-play Notre Dame touchdown drive early in the fourth quarter. Then, they took two sacks to effectively bring their final drive to a close.
