OMFG! Didier Drogba OUT Of The World Cup!
If you happen to be holidaying in Portugal today, chances are that your lunchtime platter of small sausages was temporarily forgotten thanks to a strange noise that sounded like a few million Cristiano Ronaldo fans all sighing in unison.
The Group of Death, it seems, has just got rather less morbid.
The word coming from all of the most vital sports reporting websites is that Didier Drogba is out of the World Cup, thanks to a broken elbow, caused by a particularly physical challenge from Japan defender Tulio during a warm up match.
Hence, you mightn't be surprised to note that the Ivory Coast hitman's odds of topscoring in the competition have dropped dramatically from 39/1 on Betfair, to something more like 200/1.
An emotional Sven said this:
"Yes, I'm worried, of course I am."
