Pascal Dupuis Carted Off Ice After Being Hit In Neck By Puck
Penguins forward Pascal Dupuis spent several minutes sprawled on the ice tonight after being struck in the back of the neck by a teammate's shot. Emergency personnel removed the 14-year NHL veteran from the ice by stretcher.
Dupuis was in such a position due to a cross-check delivered to his back by Alex Goligoski. Dupuis, who is in his eighth year playing for Pittsburgh, did deliver a thumb's-up as he was taken off the ice at Consol Energy Center.
