Redesign The NFL's Terrible Concussion Poster And Win Some Money
It was a noble gesture to put up this poster in NFL locker rooms, but look at it: It's boring, it's wordy, and players will never pay attention. If you can do better, there's a cash prize in it for you.
Our friends at 12 Angry Mascots, the New York City-based sports-comedy collective, are holding a contest to design a new concussion-awareness poster. Use graphics! Use eye-catching, punchy text! Whatever you do, make it something that NFL players — busy, tired, not fans of reading — will pay attention to.
They're looking for serious designers, because the winner will be presented to the NFL as a proposed alternative to the current abomination. Oh, and a big fat cash prize of course. Which isn't to say humorous entries won't be considered.
So check out the "Concuss The Concussion Poster" Contest, and submit your work to them. We will be featuring some of the best, but they're the ones in charge here.
It's a good cause, and maybe you'll help some people while furthering your career. So get to it.
