Report: Former Mississippi State QB And NFL Draft Prospect Dak Prescott Arrested For DUI
Photo via [object Object] Dak Prescott and his Mississippi State teammates held their pro day late last week down in Starkville. The former Bulldogs quarterback was projected to be one of the first five or so QBs off the board in next month’s NFL Draft, but according to a report from the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, Prescott was arrested in Starkville early yesterday morning for driving under the influence.
The Clarion-Ledger has a few details:
The arrest occurred near the Cotton District in Starkville between 1-1:30 a.m. Police pulled over Prescott in a white 2016 Cadillac Escalade. No further details were immediately available.
Prescott’s representation, Pro Sports Management, refused comment on the situation when asked multiple times Saturday.
Prescott was probably the greatest quarterback in Bulldogs history. Mock drafts and projections pegged him to be drafted somewhere in the second, third, or fourth rounds. If you have any information regarding the case, contact us at [email protected].
