Rob Lowe Is On Vacation And Unable To Comment About Where Peyton Manning Will Sign [UPDATE]
On Jan. 18, Parks and Recreation star Rob Lowe reported that Peyton Manning would retire from the NFL that evening. We now know that report was erroneous. But we don't know that Rob Lowe isn't a source worth consulting on the topic of Peyton Manning's free agency. So we reached out to Lowe's publicist, Alan Nierob, for comment:
Sorry he is away and unavailable.
(Rob Lowe's Twitter confirms this: He tweeted yesterday, "Spring break with the family. Skiing and Advil.")
Shoot, we figured. We decided to ask Nierob if he could step in for Lowe—whether he knew where Manning would sign. The entirety of his reply:
Nope
Undeterred, we've reached out to Chad Lowe's people in hopes that Rob told his brother something before he went on vacation. They have not yet responded to us. We'll bring you more when we get it.
Update (6:25 p.m.): Chad Lowe's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, has responded: "Sorry I don't think he knows..."
