Mandatory Credit: Brendan Mcdermid-Reuters via Imagn Images The Ryder Cup will continue to be shown on NBC and USA Network through at least 2033 thanks to a two-year extension of the current media agreement with the PGA of America.
The extension, announced Monday, also keeps U.S. TV and streaming rights within the NBC and USA families, which includes Peacock and the Golf Channel, for the KPMG Women's PGA Championship, Senior PGA Championship and PGA Professional Championship.
The deal had been set to expire in 2031 but will now run through the 2033 Ryder Cup scheduled for the Olympic Club in San Francisco, marking more than four decades of coverage on NBC.
"We are excited to continue our partnership with the PGA of America and USA Sports, and look forward to presenting one of the most intense international rivalries in sports at the historic Olympic Club, in the Ryder Cup's first competition in the Bay Area," said Justin Byczek, NBC Sports executive vice president of programming and rights management.
The men's PGA Championship will continue to air on CBS and ESPN as part of a separate media deal that runs through 2030.
