The Atmosphere At The Boleyn Ground Last Night Was Fantastic

Yesterday’s West Ham-Manchester United match began with United’s bus getting smashed up and ended with United blowing a gilt-edged chance to make the Champions League, losing 3-2.

It was also the final match in the 112-year history of Boleyn Ground (usually called Upton Park), as starting next season West Ham will call Olympic Stadium home. Getty photographers Michael Regan, Dan Kitwood, Julian Finney, and Paul Gilham were on hand, and captured a number of stunning photos of the Boleyn Ground’s last hurrah.
