The Greg Oden World Domination Tour Rolls On
I won't be here to share it with you, I'm afraid, but there are a couple of pretty noteworthy games on the college basketball schedule this afternoon. Greg Oden and Joakim Noah get it on as #3 Ohio State visits #4 Florida at 4:00 on CBS, and then at 4:30 on ESPN2, Bob Knight has a chance to become the NCAA's all-time winningest coach with a win over Bucknell.
You may or may not think that Knight passing Dean Smith is a big deal, but it's at least worth watching just to see Knight get more and more irritated with each question he gets about it. He says he couldn't care less about the record, but that's not going to keep him from getting asked about it endlessly. There's at least a 15% chance that he'll call someone an asshole, and that excites me.
In college basketball action from early today, Tennessee beat Texas in overtime with 35 points from Chris Lofton. UCLA did dirty and nasty things to Michgan early today, winning by a score of 92-55, and Kansas is about to put the finishing touches on their victory over Boston College.
