The Newest NFL Combine Event: Reverse Pool Jumping
Forget the bench press and Wonderlic. If you really want to see strength and fortitude in action, check out this video of San Jose State's Jarron Gilbert jumping out of a swimming pool.
In case you're wondering, Gilbert is listed at 6'5", 287 pounds and that's not easy to toss out of three feet of water. That's probably why he's projected to go in the second or third round. Pool sports are increasingly important to NFL teams, particular when Peyton Manning is in town.
(Oh, and if you're also wondering why there are so many curious comments on the YouTube page about "Dana" ... this video was featured on ESPN's First Take this morning. The world is obviously going to miss that crazy dame.)
