Titans: Please Cheer For Us
It’s rough being a Titans fan. Tennessee is winless at home over its last 10 games, and 4-20 going back to 2013. Attendance is down, and at Nissan Stadium (that’s what it’s called now, turns out), especially toward the end of blowout losses, visiting fans can feel louder and more numerous than those supporting the home team. That’s tough on fans, and sometimes even tougher on players.
Like RB Antonio Andrews, who said playing in Nashville feels like playing on the road.
“It’s a while (since the Titans won at home). Every game feels like an away game,” Andrews said. “So I don’t really know what to say too much about winning at home. It’s always good to win at home and not lose, but every game feels like an away game.”
Asked if so many opposing fans being present made the games feel like road contests, Andrews offered, “I guess that’s what it is. I don’t know.”
If we could do emojis here, I’d put one. A sad one. It would still be cheering for the Raiders on Sunday.
