Tommy Armstrong Jr. Carted Off After Serious Injury [Updates]
Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr. left tonight’s game against Ohio State on a stretcher after suffering a serious injury midway through the second quarter. Armstrong fell awkwardly on the sideline, tumbling into some Ohio State equipment and going limp.
ABC’s broadcast reported Armstrong was responsive as his head and neck were stabilized. We’ll update this post as more information on his condition becomes available.
Update (9:44 p.m.):
Update (10:35 p.m.): ABC is reporting Armstrong has been released from the hospital and is on his way back to Ohio Stadium.
