Travis Kelce Trolled Marquette King Pretty Good
Ed Zurga/ [object Object] The most exciting moment of last night’s Chiefs win over the Raiders was when the Arrowhead chanted Tyreek Hill’s name as he prepared to return a punt, and he merely took it 78 yards back for the score.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything like what happened tonight, that one scene,” Alex Smith said. “I’ve never seen a stadium chant a name like that and then he houses it. It gave me chills.”
The second most exciting moment of the night was Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s celebration after Hill’s touchdown, right in the face of Oakland punter Marquette King:
Kelce was flagged, because the NFL hates when fun things happen.
King— the fun punter—has been known to break out a dance move or two on the field, even, specifically, riding that pony. Kelce was well aware. After the game, Kelce good-naturedly referenced King’s “antics” and revealed the words the two exchanged.
“He told me I didn’t have any rhythm...I told him, ‘trust me, wait until I get in the end zone, I’ll show you some rhythm.’”
King jokingly tweeted that it went down a little differently:
