Bill Belichick said he'd reveal his future on TacoCorp's MyFace offline social network
Taco’s MyFace wall credits: FX There have been persistent rumors that this could be Bill Belichick’s final season as the HC of the New England Patriots. The team is 4-12 heading into the final week of the NFL regular season, and has seen uneven QB play since Tom Brady left town.
The Hoodie has said — in typical fashion — he’s onto the next opponent rather than discussing what his future holds. However, during his Tuesday call with The Greg Hill Show on Boston’s WEEI 93.7 FM, Belichick told the hosts how he would reveal his next steps.
“If I was going to do anything, I’d put it out there on Twitter and MyFace,” he said. “If I don’t do that, then I’ll just keep it private.”
If you’re a fan of FX’s The League, then you may recall that MyFace is TacoCorp’s offline social network.
credits: FX Introduced in Season 3, Episode 5, MyFace was the creation of Taco McArthur after being sick of his friends’ overuse of social media.
“I’ve come up with an alternative,” he said. “I’ve created the first ever offline social network.”
Taco’s MyFace “wall” — really just a corkboard — was adorned with photos of the other characters, including Ruxin, Andre, and Rafi, who provides a “status update” by sticking a post-it note saying “Rafi is here” on the board with a dart.
It’s one of many TacoCorp’s divisions, including Neckflix, the EBDBBnB, and Taco Tones.
As for Belichick, he’s led the Pats since 2000, while also serving as de facto GM. The 71-year-old has a career record of 333-177, and a record six Super Bowl victories as a head coach.
