As we’ve touched on, Gleaming Slots is a sweepstakes casino. This means that while you can access more than 500 casino-style games, you won’t be able to play with real money.
Instead, the platform adopts a dual-virtual currency model, which comprises GC and SC. These currencies work as follows:
Unusually, a third virtual currency also exists at Gleaming Slots, but only in New York and California. Here, users cannot play with redeemable Sweeps Coins, so you’ll find “Star Coins” used in their place.
Aside from redemptions, the main difference between GC and SC is purchasing. You can purchase GC directly via bundles, which may or may not be discounted. Although a lower amount of SC may be added to selected bundles, this must be included for free and not as part of the total bundle price.
Like Sweeps Coins, Star Coins cannot be purchased, but this currency iteration can not be redeemed either. They’re essentially an exclusive bonus virtual currency for players in NY and California, and can only be used to play social casino games.
Across the vast majority of the US, it’s completely legal to use sweepstakes casinos like Gleaming Slots. Because there’s no real money gambling involved, these platforms don’t usually require a special license. However, gambling laws and legislative interpretations vary from jurisdiction to the next, while a small number of states are actively looking to restrict sweepstakes casinos. During our Gleaming Slots review, we found the operator to be legal in 36 different states.
Gleaming Slots is open to anyone aged 18 or above, unless the legal age of majority is greater in your jurisdiction. However, it’s currently not possible to open an account in the following states. Remember, gameplay and SC restrictions also exist New York and California.
Since the legal status of sweepstakes platforms varies by jurisdiction, things tend to change frequently. Make sure you read the terms and conditions carefully before attempting to join Gleaming Slots.
Many people online have asked “is Gleaming Slots a scam”? Those questions are based on completely unfounded information, as this is a completely legitimate organization. This social casino is owned by a Hong Kong-based company called Eternal Boom Limited. It’s operated in the US by their partner Brave Comet Inc, out of California.
What’s more, the terms and conditions are clearly displayed on the site, providing you a concise overview of fair usage and each bonus offer. There’s nothing in the T&Cs that you wouldn’t find at every other sweepstakes casino.
We also analyzed the 2,300+ existing Gleaming Slots reviews on Trustpilot. The brand’s current trust score is an excellent 4.6 out of 5, while 85% of all reviews have awarded the company five stars. A large number of reviews praise the site’s range of games and the speed with which redemptions are completed.
Transactions and sensitive data are secured by 128-bit TLS encryption. The games are also provided by some of the industry’s best-known and most reputable developers, such as Playson, 3 Oaks Gaming and Evolution. These suppliers use third-party testing agencies to certify the randomness and integrity of their products.
Finally, strict age and identity verification processes ensure that minors are prevented from joining. You’ll need to provide proof of your age and address using official government documentation as part of KYC protocols, including a passport, drivers’ license, utility bill or Social Security Number (SSN).
The Gleaming Slots website is accessible on all modern smartphones and tablets, plus laptops and desktop computers. Because of its responsive design, the site automatically detects your screen size and reconfigures the display accordingly.
Our Gleaming Slots review also found that the platform is available via a native App Store app. Currently, it has a 4.8/5 rating from over 137k reviews. However, no such app is available on Android, so you may have to use a mobile browser depending on your device’s operating system.
Just note that Google Play contains several apps feature the name “Gleaming Slots”. However, these are either rogue apps or belong to similarly-named brands, so be wary.
There are definitely larger sweepstakes casinos out there, but the collection of 500+ Gleaming Slots games is still competitive. There’s clearly a focus here on quality over quantity, while the site also offers games across a number of verticals and genres. Top suppliers include premium brands like Booming Games, Evoplay, and Betsoft.
Evolution supplies a number of its First Person table games, but there are no live dealer options for the time being. Similarly, you won’t find many originals or exclusive titles at Gleaming Slots.
You’ll find hundreds of popular slots, however , including Megaways and Hold-and-Win titles. There are also dozens of provably fair instant win games, arcade-style shooters, and table classics like roulette, craps, and blackjack. Here’s a quick breakdown of what’s available:
| Casino-style slots | Over 450, including 3 Super Hot Chillies (3 Oaks Gaming) and 777 Rapid Gems (TaDa Gaming) |
| Instant games | An assortment of quickfire games, such as Avia Masters (BGaming) and Scratch Match (Evoplay) |
| RNG tables | 20+ examples, like Lucky Sevens (Evoplay) and First Person Lightning Roulette (Evolution) |
| Shooting games | 10+ such titles, such as Mega Fishing (Jili Games) and Dinosaur Tycoon II (TaDa Gaming) |
As we’ve touched on, newcomers can jump straight into the action with a 10,000 GC welcome bonus (complete with a further 0.3 SC upon verifying your phone number). This can be immediately supplemented by the daily login bonus, which starts at 2,000 GC and 0.5 SC and rise incrementally as part of a daily login streak.
This is by no means the biggest welcome offer on the market, but it’s more than enough to test a few games and decide whether or not you enjoy the site. You don’t need to enter a Gleaming Slots promo code to claim the offer, either. Just register and start playing right away.
If you’ve seen reports of a 2 SC welcome bonus, please ignore them. This used to be the case, but it’s not any more. Even some parts of the Gleaming Slots website continue to advertise this incorrect figure.
Over 500 casino-style games. Native iOS app available. Excellent daily login rewards. T&Cs and 18+ apply
While researching my Gleaming Slots review, I found a lot of other bonuses and promotions. Overall, there’s perhaps slightly more than you’d find at the average sweepstakes casino. Here are some of the standout offers:
Get an extra 27,000 GC and 1.5 free SC for just $1.
The amount changes daily, but it’s worth 63,000 GC and 5.80 free SC a week for seven consecutive logins.
Get up to 50 SC per referral, plus a spin of a promotional wheel where the top prize is 200 SC.
The “Pick One” banner reveals discounts on selected GC bundles. Remember, spending money is optional.
Write to the operator for 2 free SC. That’s a little less than other sites, but it’s better than nothing.
Enjoy extra benefits from the Gleaming Slots loyalty program.
It’s also worth mentioning the regular tournaments at Gleaming Slots. Play selected games and compete against other players for a share of a 2,500 SC prize fund. Tournaments and challenges are available on a weekly basis.
If you’d like to buy an optional GC package, the choice of payment methods is pretty limited. Only Visa or Mastercard debit cards are accepted for the purpose of completing purchases, although the “Cashier” will display all available options for your specific location.
On a more positive note, there’s a wide range of GC packages to suit all budgets. Bundles start from just $1, with high-roller packages available for $100 and up to $200. Nearly all of these GC bundles include some free SC as a bonus, which is great to see. However, just note that the site imposes a maximum daily spending limit of $2,000 on total coin purchase bundles.
The minimum rate above which your SC can be redeemed is 100 SC. However, there are a couple of other requirements that you’ll have to fulfil before claiming your rewards:
What’s more, redemptions are restricted to one every 24 hours, and capped at a maximum limit of 10,000 SC. In terms of the Gleaming Slots redemption times, the brands warns users that transactions could take up to ten days. However, most redemptions take between two and five business days. Currently, you can only redeem for cash prizes, at an SC:USD rate of 1:1. Gift cards aren’t supported at the site.
It’s also important to touch on the range and quality of customer support at Gleaming Slots. As a new player, you’ll have to send an email, or call the number found in the website footer, if you experience a problem.
There is a live chat service, but it’s only open to those who’ve reached Level 2 of the Gleaming Club loyalty scheme. Everyone else has to deal with a chatbot, which is fine when dealing with basic or generic queries. It’s better to send an email for more complex queries, but be prepared to wait up to 24 hours for a reply.
Failing that, you can also try messaging any of the Gleaming Slots social media channels, which might elicit a slightly quicker response. The’ site’s “Responsible Play” guidelines and community data also answers a number of frequently-asked questions.
