Jameis Winston Melts Down After Panthers Comeback

Cam Newton scored a touchdown with 35 seconds left to push the Panthers past the Buccaneers, 22-19. On the ensuing drive, Jameis Winston fumbled on the first play after a sack from Kawann Short. Carolina defensive end Julius Peppers recovered. That’s when things got messy.
Winston was upset because he thought he recovered the fumble, but the officials had already ruled Peppers came down with the football. The Bucs QB ran out onto the field, shoving a man in a tan suit.
Winston picked up an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but appeared to apologize to ref Jerome Boger after the game ended. With the win, the Panthers clinched a playoff spot.
