It only seems logical, and frankly inevitable: The only way to resolve this whole BCS chaos is to have ... "playoffs to determine an NCAA playoff system." Stick with us here.
Our own Matt Sussman comes up with the 16-"team" tournament. Some of his entrants:
• 6. One team per conference.
• 8. 64-team playoff. (This would be so much fun.)
• 12. Simulate a season on Xbox 360
• 13. 97-team playoff
• 15. The Price Is Right Big Wheel
We also like the snubs, which include, "Modified Stableford point system" and "one-team playoff bracket." Hey, there's nothing here that's any more ridiculous than the real thing.
