STEPHEN A. SMITH APPROVES OF STEPHEN A. SMITH'S BARCALOUNGER
Sometimes we worry that we are putting together unfair, cartoonish caricatures of some of our favorite sports personalities, that there are subtleties to them that we are missing. We worry about this; we worry about a lot. But then we come across this piece of news about Stephen A. Smith.
Apparently, Stephen A. buys his furniture in the third person.
ESPN's Stephen A. Smith picked up some furniture at Raymour & Flanigan in Cherry Hill earlier today and referred to himself in the third person while shopping, says a nearby customer. "Stephen would like the sofa that Stephen was just sitting in," our source quotes Smith, who's been off from the [Philadelphia Inquirer] since his column was stripped in August.
This is fantastic. EVERY PIECE OF HOMEWARE STEPHEN A. SMITH BUYS IS IMPORTANT.
