Adebayor Leads Arsenal Past Fulham
Emmanuel Adebayor's pair of headers gave the Gunners a comfortable cushion over a downtrodden Fulham side. It was another example of the Gunners playing in an un-Arsenal-like style, but they accomplished the task with ease. Tomas Rosicky added to the scoring sheet with a goal off of a volley to make it 3-0 for the victors. Deuce converted on a header at one point, but about half of Craven Cottage was offside.
• Red Devils keep the lead. Rooney and Ronaldo both scored again, and they didn't even have to pay for it this time. Manchester had a tough go of it early on against Reading, but it was just a matter of time before the goal scorers found their finishing touch.
• That could have been worse. Chelsea was a bit "off" in their match with Birmingham City but the famed Belletti-to-Pizarro combination finally scored to give my Blues another signature 1-0 escape. The remain 4 points off of the pace set by the two evil clubs mentioned above.
