Pitchers And Catchers Will Report Sooner Than We Think
OK, so now football is over. We can all move in with our lives, with a newfound focus on the America East conference and the MEAC. But don't worry: Spring Training is so freaking close now.
Yep, the delay is shorter than you think, or than we realized. Eight teams are requiring pitchers and catchers to report on February 13: The Orioles, Cubs, Astros, Royals, A's, Phillies, Giants and Mariners. (Most of those teams look like they could use the extra day.) And then there are spring training games, and then there are real games, and this whole football season will be long past us, and we'll be back to a sense of normalcy.
February's a long month, kids. Let's try to hang in the best we can.
