What to watch while wondering if the new statue at Staples Center will sport fishnets...
• Oscar de la Hoya vs. Steve Forbes. Check back in later tonight. [HBO]
• The Detroit Pistons host the Orlando Magic in the first game of the NBA Playoff's second round. The first round should be wrapping up any day now. [TNT]
• The San Antonio Spurs begin their series with the New Orleans Hornets. Who else thinks we're due for a Bruce Bowen suspension? [TNT]
I hold nothing against Oscar for the whole cross-dressing debacle. Being around strippers makes you do some crazy shit.

UM, where's the Nightmare fuel tag?
No.
Forbes finally has a chance to make up for that poor showing in the 1996 primary.
can anyone explain why the golden boy is getting a statue, putting him in the company of magic and gretzky? seriously, can anyone explain that?
@SuperFrankieLampard: He has made that building a fucking mint.
as a promoter more than a fighter, although they probably netted more off of his Mosley fight than a full season of Gretsky's ice dancing.
Isn't that one of the "girls" who got Ronaldo in trouble this week?

Looks like somebody esle will be getting kicked out of the ASU cheerleading squad.
@44 in a Row: it balances out the cubs fan
a 9pm local tip-off on Bourbon Street seems like a fantastic idea for Hornets-Spurs.
@44 in a Row: It's not that bad if you cover the torso and head with your hand.
Wait, what?
My money is on Teve Torbes
@StevieY19: +1
I only have one question: WHY?
UM, great TNT link. I knew I needed some Dutch telephony service.
Fucking .tv bullshit
@SuperFrankieLampard: And Magic and Gretzky never even played in The Staples Center. Like Fletch, they played at The Forum.
