Tonight is a monumental moment for those who enjoy Rick Sutcliffe's smooth, honest, and, sometimes, absolutely shit-faced baseball analysis, as he returns to ESPN studios to be the colorman for the Atlanta Braves-New York Mets game. Sutcliffe's been out of commission after battling colon cancer, but he's recovering nicely and is ready to stumble back into announcer's booth near you sometime soon.
Bill Murray is currently pre-gaming at the keg-erator this very minute.

Welcome back, big red!
Glad you went out and solved that thing, Rick. Welcome back.
Glad that he's back healthy.
He just might be the Scott Hall of baseball announcers.
Glad I'll be tipping one and not pouring one out for you Rick; welcome back.
Anybody who doesn't like Suttcliffe has problems, man.
Keep the Old Style, leave the cancer.
I hope he's in optimum condition to go on live television.
Stuart Scott is impressed with how clean Sutcliffe's colon is now.
@DaOtter: Seriously, he got shitfaced on the golf course with Bill Murray before work? who among us wouldn't do that?
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it.
@Rant_Casey: What is the scientific purpose of that?
Ah, yes. There, in the first base coach's box, it's Rusty Kuntz.
I'm going to destroy it. I don't know how yet. Possibly with dynamite
Well, I'm glad the doctors went over there and solved that thing.
i was wondering what happened to Sut. i was about to get George Clooney on that thing.
Sutcliffe 1 Ass Cancer 0
Nice to see him back..
Ya get that thing I sent ya?
My God he sounds like Jim Breuer in Half Baked.
The Red Sox have a Colon cancer. Bartolo's pitching.
Wow, YouTube's video player hasn't looked like that in a while.
At what point does Sutcliffe throw a fastball in Stuart Scott's ear hole. I mean, he's got one good eye - wouldn't even see it coming.
Sober? Booooooooooring!
@Jefferson Short Bus: That's nothing. Freshman year, I lived in Scott Hall.
Never fails to crack me up.
