Michael Vick Is Still An Idiot
Yesterday, a Virginia bankruptcy court rejected Michael Vick's, um, completely idiotic bankruptcy plan. Why? Perhaps it was a bad idea for a broke, unemployed athlete to claim he needs two houses and four cars.
Reading over Lester Munson's analysis of Michael Vick's rejected bankruptcy plan, one can't help but wonder how contrite the former Atlanta Falcons quarterback and dog fighting mastermind really is. At one point during the bankruptcy hearing Vick claimed he was "on lockdown" 23 hours a day, which was complete and utter bullshit — there are no lockdowns in minimum-security Federal prisons. The crack legal and accounting work that led to the apparently rare event of Vick's bankruptcy plan being rejected has cost $3.7 million and counting. Maybe it's time to hire new help.
