According to this press release, ESPN hand-picked Tom Rinaldi to sit down with Tiger Woods and ask the awkward questions about the golfer's super-sexual personal life for the WWL. Sports Business Journal's John Ourand has many of the details.
ESPN's Tom Rinaldi has covered Tiger extensively over the years and was the network's choice to sit down with Tiger. ESPN kept quiet about the interview — even some of ESPN's other Tiger-friendly talent admitted they "knew nothing" about Rinaldi's sit down with Woods until today — and Ourand also reports that ESPN said Woods put no restrictions on the questions. Ari Fleischer has been busy because Woods also sat down with Golf Channel's Kelly "Lynch him in the back alley " Tilghman for some quality q-and-a. Remember, the Golf Channel is like Tiger's 700 Club so this one could be a lot less probing and not talk about Tiger's interest in fucking people till mercy.
