Last Night's Winner: Shining Moments
In sports, everyone is a winner-some people just win better than others. Like the captive audience fully engrossed in this year's highly entertaining NCAA Tournament, which somehow keeps getting better.
Butler knocked off one-seeded Syracuse and Indianapolis went appropriately apeshit. Yes, it ruined the story of the autistic miracle boy bracketologist, but some people considered him fraudulent anyway. Besides, there was real, live actual basketball and a mid-major underdog to sate our feel-good entertainment quotient. Then Kansas State-Xavier went Double OT and everyone needed bigger and more effective superlatives to sum up the 2010 NCAA Tournament so far. This is a tournament for everyone, smart people said. And there's still more to come.
