Well, This Guy Is Happy For His FriendS

Because no one reads the newspaper, and SportsCenter's anchors are too perky for this early in the morning, Deadspin combs the best of the broadsheets and the blogosphere to bring you everything you need to know to start your day

• Durant and Westbrook lead the OKC Thunder to a 110-89 victory over those fancy Los Angeles city-boys. Said Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant, "I was managing the game exactly how I wanted to. Unfortunately, it got away from us." So, yeah. Series tied @ 2. [Yahoo]

• Brandon Roy returns and the Blazers beat the Suns 96-87. Roy campaigned for his return via text message to Coach Nate McMillan. PUT ME IN COACH, I AM READY 2 PLAY. 2DAY! [Yahoo]

• Magic defeat Bobcats, which is obvious to anyone who either a.)practices magic or b.) watches basketball, and Bucks take one against the Hawks. [NBA.com]

• Hockey time! Lookout wives, Penguins eliminate the Senators, Sharks eliminate the Avalanche and Martin Hossa comes back from a major boarding penalty to lead the Blackhawks over the not yet eliminated Predators. [NHL.com]

•Thanks to alert reader Cole for the photo. Good to see people having fun in front of a camera.

Hey everybody, it's you favorite pal Stev D. I am here to steer you through an exciting Sunday of stuff. I don't usually edit on Sundays, me and my Sarah (my goodly wife of a two-year) are usually jarring preserves and preparing spelt-bread crackers. But until the great famine takes away the wicked (fingers crossed it's soon) I guess I can do some sports bloggin- so lets have some fun and maybe the Decomplicator will stop by later to de-complicate some stuff.
