People apparently interpreted part of Friday's post, regarding Mo Williams's dog's cruel attack on Antawn Jamison's pooch, as some sort of sick joke. It was not.

(By the way, the "La Familia" stuff is part of Mo's love for the old-school gangster mythos. His personal pit's name is Capone, Mo's self-given nickname is Mo Gotti, and when he hits a 3-pointer, the sound system at Quicken Loans Arena plays the familiar seven-note refrain of the theme from The Godfather. You wouldn't know that if you caught Mo only in the NBA playoffs, when his game sleeps with the fishes.)
Meanwhile, Tootsie, Antawn Jamison's Shih Tzu, is in stable condition at a veterinary clinic near Chicago, where LeBron is house-hunting with John Calipari and William "World Wide Wes" Wesley. No word yet on who'll get the top bunk.
