Last Night's Winner: Buddy Comedies
In sports, everyone is a winner—some people just win better than others. Like the movie-going public that was treated to a hilarious preview of "Grown Ups" last night. If only all that basketball hadn't been in the way.
The epic battle that exactly one person in America desperately wanted to see turned out to be a bit of a dud, but thankfully L.A.'s beautiful people were out in full force to entertain us with their charms. We're so lucky to have them, aren't we? They're so funny and personable that it makes me want to spend all my money on what ever projects they happen to involved in.
The crazy part is that they all like each other as much as we like them. Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade all watching basketball together is just like that movie they are all in ... only in real life! We should definitely go see that!
Sure, they're a little distracting to Phil Jackson, but then why did he invite them to sit on his bench? You'd think the guy had never seen a famous person before. Geez, Phil, play it cool.
Seriously, I have no idea what happened in the game, but Kobe Bryant's refusal to not laugh at Chris Rock so that he could concentrate on his stupid game is just unbelievably rude. NO ONE IS THERE TO SEE YOU, HOT SHOT!
I wonder what Dyan Cannon is doing right now....
