Buster Douglas Made The Worst Commercial Ever

You've seen bad acting. And you've seen poor boxing. But who else besides former heavyweight champion of the world Buster Douglas could bring you both in a single ad?

Red flag #1: They come across Douglas while training. I know we're to suspend disbelief here, but it's obvious that Douglas hasn't seen the inside of a gym in a decade.

To be fair, this isn't a professionally made commercial from some big Madison Avenue ad agency. Obviously. It's a fan-made spot for a contest SafeAuto is holding, and this Ohio submission just happened to put Buster Douglas in theirs.

Interestingly, the contest seems to be about re-interpreting the jingle, something this commercial doesn't actually, you know, do. So it's unlikely that it's going to win. Still, it's nice to see Buster working again, even if it's pro bono.
